I feel a bit silly being this excited about finally getting my AERC patch*. I have been competing since 2008. I have 845 distance miles. However, I've managed to break them up so evenly that I never put enough in one category to get an award. I currently have 355 endurance miles, 225 LD miles, and another 265 non-AERC miles from ECTRA. Nonetheless, I was DELIGHTED to finally get my first AERC chevron. Excited enough to make a whole post about it. /dorkiness
NOT dorky at all, especially given how long you've been competing in the sport! Big congratulations, Dom! :)
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! You earned that!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That is a lot of hard work and dedication, you should be proud of it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That is not dorky. It takes a lot to get through all those miles. Plus you gave to consider all the conditioning miles you put in to get the competition miles. It all adds up. Someday I hope to earn so e badges as well.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Awesome accomplishment :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
