Sato Puppies

Carolyn went on vacation to Puerto Rico last week. She came back with a litter of six puppies. They are what the locals call Sato, feral mixed breed dogs that wander the streets and beaches. Carolyn's last dog, Chiquita, was a Puerto Rican beach dog and she was awesome.  These particular pups were living in a shed somewhere. There are five black and one tan, five girls and one boy. They are really very sweet and will be available for adoption in two weeks or so. But on to the part everyone's here for... photos!!!

Lawn full of puppies.

Sniff sniff sniffing...

"Can I pwease have a home?"

The rat tails are from them trying to nurse on each other. The hair will grow back.

Seriously, say no to this face.

Tiny puppy.

"I have something to tell you!"

This one likes to swim in the water bowl.

Office kitty. This is Vince, the resident clinic cat. He was available for adoption through EASEL, but ended up staying. He's the coolest cat of all time and I freaking love him. I'd take him home myself if I could.

Too small to get on the porch unassisted.

Peek-a-boo!

Pretty kitty <3

Iko says, "Isn't this why I'm spayed?"

They have staying cool down to an art.

Pancake puppy!

Smaller than the kitten! Aw!

My AC buddy.

This dog showed up in the streets. Fixed, good weight, very friendly to humans, cats, puppies, and dogs. Microchipped, but the microchip was never registered after he left Philly SPCA (who, btw, can't be bothered to pick up their phones).

Tolerant kitty.

Mike snuggling on ickle baby puppies.

Herbie shows the puppies the wonder of Ball.

I am so in love with him.

They love him already.

She was licking his face.

Herbie mothering as usual, even with stitches still in.

  3. OMGosh!! Cuteness overload! Puppies and kitties, puppies WITH kitties! I'm glad you live too far away, otherwise the temptation of one of those doll babies would be too great!
