Cam and Shiloh

Blogging is going to be a little slow since my laptop died (probably for good this time). I had all my photos organized and edited by category so I could crank out entries in my rare quiet moments. Now I have to wait until Mike's at work to steal his computer, and I have to re-edit photos (or take them from FB). Bummer.

I promised I would blog about Cam's other horse, Shiloh, and it makes for an easy photo dump, so here you go. Shiloh is reportedly an appendix gelding, and I think he's in his early teens. He's an all around good guy, and I'm actually going to start using him for lessons for Cam's younger brother starting today.

A few weeks ago, Cam asked if I could take some photos of her and Shiloh together, and I was happy to oblige. She's been using a lot of what we work on in lessons with Slang with Shiloh, and the results have been awesome.

  1. Nice horse! A full-cheek bit like that will work a lot better with a keeper to hold it in position...

    1. That was the exact rec I made. If you look at my other entry you will see the bridle has keepers now. These photos are a few weeks old and I had not worked with Shiloh yet.
